How I Conduct Lessons Currently I do lessons every day except Friday. Lessons can start as early as 830am & go tell as late as 930pm. I don't take any breaks during this time so lessons are back to back all day & evening. All new students are put on to a "waiting list" this waiting list does not mean you don't get lessons. In fact, in most cases you'll have your first lesson with in a week of contacting me. Sense lessons are my full time job I have the ability to give students their own assigned day & time that is theirs every week for as long as you want them. With that said, a set spot hasn't simply just sat open for years. There is always someone waiting for one. Wait listers still get lessons where others are gone & I have extra time. In most cases wait listers get a lesson almost every week it simply isnt always at the same day and time. When your name reaches the top of the waiting list you'll be given the option to have a set spot or stay sporadic. :
Assigned Time Students: These students have their own assigned day and time that they attend a lesson every week. It is their spot for as long as they want it. I will never fill it or give it to anyone else, accept on days they tell me they will be gone. Sense this spot is held for you every week I require a minimum of 24 hrs notice when you wont be able to attend your lesson. Failure to give me notice will result in you being charged for the lesson. Exceptions will be made for illness and family emergencies.
Sporadic Students: If the current open assigned times don't work for you then you can choose to attend lessons sporadically until an assigned time opens up that does work with your schedule. You can also choose to be a sporadic student if your schedule is always changing and having a set day and time every week doesn't seem possible with your schedule. Sporadic Students attend lessons from week to week in different days a times, usually in the place of a student who has to miss their assigned time for the week. Sporadic Students usually have no problem getting in almost every week just like an assigned time student.
A word from Candice, founder & head instructor:
"There are certainly other instructors out there that girls can meet with. I see over a hundreds kids a week, where as most instructors only see 3-10. That is why I recommend going with another instructor if what your looking for is someone to show your daughter the basics and its really important to you to have a set day & time immediately. But if your willing to come sporadic tell you get a set spot; when you do get one, it will be yours for as long as you want it & I will never give it away. Currently I have a student leaving for college that has been with me for over 11 years. I only cancel lessons for holidays & family emergencies & I'm very dedicated to my students & their families. Another thing that makes me different is the fact that I have a practice policy. If my students don't practice then they won't be aloud to continue lessons with me. I hold my students to a certain standard, it's not about the money for me, it is about seeing your kid succeed."
