The Screw Ball can be very hard on the arm. Anyone wanting to learn this pitch should have over a year or more of pitching experience and should be supervised at all times during the first stages of this pitch.
Hold the ball with a two finger grip.
When throwing the Screw Ball, your pitch starts the same as a Fastball, as you bring your arms around rotate your wrist till your two fingers (in the two finger grip) are facing the catcher, then twist your arm and wrist a full 180 degrees to the inside (to your right if your a right handed pitcher, to your left if your a left handed pitcher)
Your twist needs to be completed by 2 inches in front of your hip at that moment release the ball and the follow up until you touch your shoulder with your palm.
